What are the eligibility requirements for a timeshare tour?

Can you answer John L’s question about Timeshares?:

I live in Orlando and would like to get free tickets to Disney or at least Universal Studios, or even cash for going on one of those timeshare tours I have read so much about. So I spent a long time doing online research but for some reason there is no clear answer to this question. Specifically, will they let Florida residents go on the tour or is it only for out of state people who are on vacation? Also, do they do anything to actually verify that you meet the minimum income level?

Timeshares Feedback: I think it will depend a lot on which place you choose to visit. They do have different for people from various states and I don’t think you could guarantee they would not check on your info. They will very likely check on the spot for a drivers license and credit card. You might try a place in Daytona so at least you are from out of town.
