If an owner of a Timeshare can not use it during the specific time period he will either loss his week or he will have to bank it with an exchange company. If he does nothing with the timeshare they will loss their maintenance fees and taxes for the year which range from $400 to $1000 for the more lavish resorts. You have to take into consideration if you are traveling with friends or large family how much multiple hotel rooms will cost. If you are able to get a 3 bedroom timeshare for $1500 that is $71 a night per room. Try and get that at a hotel.

Some of the units listed will also be for sale so if you are interested after you get back from your vacation you can always consider buying the Timeshare and have use of it every year. Remember the owner has expenses yearly for the use of the resort and might be negotiable on the rental price so make an offer today.
